The Combined Energy Services’ Builders Program partners contractors, builders and developers with CES so that your homebuyers experience the convenience, versatility, affordability and comfort of propane gas or fuel oil.
Most new homes today are being constructed with propane gas as the primary fuel of choice for several reasons:
Versatility: Propane can be used for heating, water heating, gas fireplaces, clothes drying, BBQ-grilling, space heating, pool heating and to run back-up electric generators all from one storage tank.
Efficiency: Builders are upselling home buyers on quality gas heating equipment with efficiency ratings (AFUE) of up to 95%, giving the consumers the most for their heating value.
No Thru-the-Roof Chimney Required: Many of today’s high efficiency gas furnaces & boilers can vent through a side wall using 3-4” PVC piping since the flue gases are relatively cool. This eliminates expensive chimney systems which can often lead to added headaches with water leaks on roof penetrations.
Cleanliness: Gas heating systems operate cleanly, saving your customers money in the long run.
No risk of environmental problems: Banks & insurance companies frown on buried fuel oil tanks today. With propane, there’s no storage tank to buy and there’s no risk of spilled or leaking fuel oil.
Price Stability: We offer your homebuyer various pricing options which include locking in winter pricing as fixed or capped, depending on what fits their budget.

CES Builder Rep: No matter what the job, we’re happy to send a rep to your job site for consultation on tank installation, piping or appliance sales to make sure we’re all on the same page. No guessing, no mysteries – we’re happy to meet at your site whenever you need us.

Free Exterior Gas Piping & Regulators. Let’s put that tank where it’s easy to refill in the winter and aesthetically appealing for your home buyer. Whether it’s 15 feet or 200 feet, we’re happy to work with you to put the tank in a good location at no cost.
Underground or Aboveground Propane Tanks delivered on YOUR time line. We’ll work with you to have the buried tank on site to be buried at your convenience, guaranteeing not to hold up expensive excavation equipment. We’ll attach the anode back and even leave the pipe if you wish to rough in and our techs will make the final connections & pressure checks. We understand how gas companies can hold up your project and we promise never to do that!
Interior Gas Piping: Our techs can install all your interior gas piping from start to finish for one pre-quoted flat rate. If you prefer to run your own pipe, finish pressure testing & safety check is always performed at no cost to you as the builder.
Gas Credit! As a thank you for partnering with CES on your gas heated homes, we’ll give you 100 gallons “gas credit” which you can ‘bank’ for temp heating, use at your own locations or you can give to the new homebuyer as your gift. It’s all up to you.
Discounts on Gas, Appliances & HVAC Systems: As a CES builder, we’re happy to offer you preferred rates for heating equipment & appliances. In addition, we offer our builders a subsidized special wholesale rate for any gas used in the new home during construction. When you close with the homebuyer, we happy to read the tank’s gauge, issue credit to you and bill the consumer for the gas remaining.
